Privacy and Security Training.
LSE general course Training
From May 2008, 80/20 Thinking will be conducting training in partnership with the London School of Economics. The Privacy Masterclass is an open enrolment course aimed at exposing participants to all elements of the privacy arena, while the half day executive session on data breaches will help senior public sector officials understand how to establish stronger information security practices in government.
The Masterclass explores a number of case studies that underline how privacy awareness can determine the success or failure of projects, media strategies and product deployment. Some of the world’s most respected and experienced practitioners in the field will give participants an understanding of how to build good privacy practice into the core of their business to minimise risk and build trust.
The Data Breaches sessions will explore important case studies in good security practice and will lead participants through a series of peer-to-peer exercises to help create bespoke solutions for each organization. Facilitators will give participants an understanding of how to build good security practice into the core of their business.
In-house bespoke training
80/20 conducts bespoke in-house training for organizations that wish to address a range of privacy and security issues. These packages involve at least four hours’ pre-planning and a similar commitment for feedback, assessment and dissemination.
